Becca Box Professional Bio

Becca Box joined the Barbershop Harmony Society staff as the Music Administrative Assistant in July of 2008.  She supports the Music Department in three main areas: Quartet Registry, Contest and Judging, and Harmony University.  Aside from various tasks for the Music Department, she also registers and renews quartets of the Society. She is the liaison between the Contest and Judging Community, providing clerical work such as posting schedules, compiling scores, and answering questions.  Lastly, the most extensive part of her job is Harmony University.  Nine concentrated

months out of her year are dedicated to planning the logistics of this event.  She coordinates rooming, travel arrangements, class schedules, and also acts as the Harmony University Office manager onsite.  Box attended Middle Tennessee State University earning a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mass Communication.  She has been a member of Sweet Adelines International (SAI) since 2001, and she sings with the TuneTown Show Chorus.  She also sings with her regional silver medalist and 2007 international Rising Star silver medalist quartet, Last Minute.  She is involved with Young Women in Harmony programs teaching and coaching young ladies in the fundamentals of barbershop.  Box is a native to Nashville and enjoys all types of art, specifically photography.
