Drew Ellis is the Assistant Director of Membership and member services. Ellis develops effective member recruiting methods, helps execute annual membership drives, facilitates workshops and fosters good chapter communications. Ellis’s professional background includes serving as a marketing and personnel specialist and teaching. His music performance experience covers a broad spectrum of genre, from barbershop harmony to country to “oldies.” His affiliation with the Society goes back to 2001. He is currently a member of the Nashville, Tenn. chapter, but was a charter member of the Athens, Ala. chapter and a member of the Memphis chapter, as well. He has held several chapter leadership roles, including visual/choreography director, section leader and board member-at-large, and won the Dixie District chorus championship with the Memphis chapter in 2004. Ellis is working towards a master of Divinity degree from Lipscomb University’s Hazelip School of Theology and holds a bachelor of arts in speech communications and business from Stephen F.
