BHS Music and Performance Committee announces help for your chapter's music program.
Do you want to sing better?
Do you want to perform better?
Do you have limited time outside of your chapter meeting night?
Do you have limited funds to pay for additional coaching?
If the above questions are hitting close to home, then your chapter is ready to participate in the Music Mentor Program.
At the Midwinter Convention this January in Albuquerque, all the Society District Presidents gave their support to the Music Mentor Program on behalf of their District Vice Presidents of Music & Performance.
What this means is that all 16 districts will have a program for NO-FEE coaching at your chapter meeting.
The Keys to the Music Mentor Program are:
- Three visits from the same Mentor in a 9-12 month time frame.
- Visits are at the Chapter’s meeting location at its time and convenience.
- The cost to the chapter is to be minimal -- maybe travel expense and a meal
Based on surveys dating back as far as 2001, our chapters have been asking for inexpensive help at their convenience, time and location, instead of just at a once-a-year school that may be difficult for an entire chapter to attend.
