Liz Cillo Professional Bio

Liz Cillo Merchandising Manager

Liz Cillo was born and raised in New Jersey. She lived in Baltimore, Md. for a number of years, Va. for 20 years, then Pa. Liz graduated from a small liberal arts college in Pennsylvania and earned a Masters Degree from Johns Hopkins University. She has two sons, both recent college graduates, who live in Charlottesville, Va. In Va, she owned and operated a large country general store for 13 years followed by six years employment with Plow & Hearth, a national home décor and garden merchandise catalog, retail, and internet company, headquartered in Va. Her most recent position at Plow & Hearth was Merchandising Assistant, where she worked closely with the furniture buyer, while at the same time managed the floor coverings category.  In Pa., she served as assistant to the Director of Human Resources of a large manufacturing company. Liz manages four direct reports and the Society’s merchandising operations, including mail order catalog, online and retail sales channels.
